To be honest I wasn’t quite ready for this week to start. Jake and I didn’t get much of a weekend. Jake was off being a zombie all weekend (literally). He left early every morning and didn’t get back until late. And since it was just Pixel and I at home I decided to be productive and do some much needed cleaning around the house. It sure didn’t feel like a weekend.
So when I woke up this morning the last thing I wanted to do was get right to work. Instead I decided to do a little relaxing watercolor in preparation for Valentine’s Day. We had guests make these same cards at our Shop/Social event on Friday too. Everyone really loved doing them. I ending up getting too busy during the party and didn’t snap any good photos of the event. So since I don’t have those to show you I thought I could at least show you some of what we did.
you will need:
- watercolor paint
- paint brushes
- white crayon
- cup of water
- blank cardstock cards
- envelopes
Easy peasy, right? If you’re in even more of a hurry, you could always print out these mini valentines.
Julep did a version of this project but instead of using cards they created an abstract art valentine. Brilliant!
