Remember how last week I told you Jake and I were wanting to be better about exploring California? Well I’m proud to say we did a pretty good job of doing just that this weekend.
On Saturday we packed up a lunch and went to Eaton Canyon in Pasadena. We had never been before and it was the perfect day for a hike.
The trail was really beautiful. A little stream ran along the path. Pixel loved splashing through it. I think he was a little shocked at how much colder it was from his bath water though.
At the end of the trail there was a 40 foot waterfall. It was really beautiful. We sat there for a while and let Pixel play in the water.
We couldn’t pass up a picture of Pixel by a firetruck! He was such a good worker carrying his water and out snacks in his little backpack.
On the drive home Pixel was so tired that he fell asleep; it was so cute. I think we wore him out.
