The Posts of Christmas Past
DIY Holiday Gift Wrap / Music Picks / Hot Chocolate Party & Printables |
Last Christmas I had a lot of fun putting together posts for the holidays. Since then my blog has grown quite a bit. If you’re a new readers and haven’t gone back and looked through the archives or stumbled across pins on Pinterest, you probably haven’t seen them. So I thought I would bring back some of my favorite holiday post from last year. They’re oldies but goodies. I have a few new ones planned for this year too but these should hold you over until then.

Finders Keepers: Sufjan Stevens Silver & Gold
Yesterday I found out that Sufjan Stevens released a new Christmas album this year! I always play his other Christmas album on repeat this time of year. Yes, it’s that good! His new Silver & Gold album has 58 songs on it! You can’t go wrong with this one.
What are your favorite Christmas albums?
A Few of My Favorite Things
To & From Holiday 2012 Guide
Last week at this time I hadn’t even started my Christmas shopping, but believe it or not I almost have it all done! If you aren’t quite as on top of it don’t worry. Here is a little help. Take a gander through the gift guide put out by To & From. There are so many beautiful things in it that I haven’t seen before. Now I wish I would have seen the guide before I made up my list for Santa.
Wes Anderson From Above
We just watched Moonrise Kingdom for the second time the other day. Wes Anderson films aren’t for everybody, but I really enjoy his work. The sets are all so unique and really beautiful to watch. Here is a montage of some overhead shots from some of his films. Just a fun little video for your afternoon.
Black Friday Printable: Charlie Brown Christmas
I hope everybody had a successful and enjoyable shopping day today. Jamie and I found lots of great deals online this year from the comfort of our living room.
Last year we designed (and I animated) a graphic of Linus’ Christmas speech from A Charlie Brown Christmas. Since then we’ve had lots of people ask where they could buy the print. It wasn’t something we had originally planned on making available, but since so many people enjoyed it, we decided to make it a free 8×10 printable download. You can print it off for your own home (or for a friend’s) absolutely free and remember all season long the true meaning of Christmas. Enjoy!

Making A List: Christmas Gift Record Printable
There are a few smart people out there that have already gotten all of their Christmas shopping done. Then there are people like me that haven’t really even started. I always have a hard time choosing what to get people so I end up putting it off hoping the perfect gift will fall right in my lap. Once Black Friday hits, that is when I really start to get in present buying mode.
When I’m out shopping and in the midst of the holiday craziness, I sometimes forget who I’ve bought presents for and who I still have left on my list. So I made a handy dandy printable that will solve all those problems. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with a little elf to help pick out the perfect gift.
Have a happy Thanksgiving everybody and don’t forget your stretchy pants!
